Secrets The Vine is an adults-only resort ideally situated in the heart of Cancun’s Hotel Zone. This modern high-rise property features exceptional amenities and provides a sophisticated environment for guests seeking tranquility and luxury. The resort is located along the white sandy beaches and overlooks the turquoise waters, allowing guests to experience the beauty of Cancun’s coastline. For my stay at Secrets the Vine, I stayed in the Ocean View Suite. This suite was located on the side of the high-rise building, with amazing views of the ocean, and the lagoon.
Secrets The Vine Cancun offers 5 a la carte restaurants, and a buffet. I grabbed coffee each morning at the coffee shop, which also offered pastries and desserts throughout the day. My favorite restaurant was hands down the Italian restaurant, Nebbiolo. I also had dinner at Bluewater, the steak house and Dragons, which was Asian. Restaurants I did not try included Olio, Mediterranean and Sea Salt Grill, which was seafood. The buffet had amazing lunches and dinners. I also had room service breakfast on my last day, and it was amazing as well. One thing to note, is that not all restaurants are open each night, so you will wan to be sure to check the app for hours. This may also have been due to low occupancy at the time of stay.
Enjoy the pool experience with a total of three outdoor pools. Guests can relax and unwind in the two infinity and terrace swimming pools, which offer stunning views of the ocean. For those staying in the preferred club room, the resort also features a roof top pool. The resort also offers hot tubs on site. One thing to note is that this resort does not have a swim up bar but each pool offers poolside waitstaff. The resort also features a gym, which overlooks the ocean. The gym is located near the spa. I did not utilize the spa for this trip. Each night, the resort offers live entertainment in the lobby bar, and certain nights, themed events. The resort is also close to malls, offsite restaurants, local shops and bars. There plenty to do nearby.
Overall, my stay at Secrets the Vine was amazing! The resort is high rise and situated in close proximity to other resorts. This is something to keep in mind when considering Secrets the Vine. Final thoughts, the resort was laid back, and relaxing. The ocean and beach were beautiful. I would definitely consider this resort again.
