Carol, of Barefoot Bridal, a destination wedding travel agency, has been amazing with helping us with all the booking details. Carol has worked with the hotel to secure a group rate with the Paradisus Punta Cana in Punta Cana and to help all of our guests book their travel accommodations for our wedding on August 17, 2018.

Paradisus Punta Cana is a deluxe luxury all inclusive hotel in Punta Cana, approximately 30 minutes from the Punta Cana airport, providing a YHI Wellness Center, Royal Service, fine dining at 12 restaurants, a huge lake style pool, and other services. Paradisus Punta Cana features 536 luxurious junior suites located in different 3-story buildings. Even the smallest details have been carefully designed to offer a personalized experience. All suites come with a balcony or terrace.

The Special Wedding Group Rates have been secured and rooms have been blocked off with a room block, waiting for you to book your stay! There is a 3-night minimum stay for the rates. The rates are below. In addition to these rates, we have secured discounted round trip direct transfers from PUJ private to this group for only $35 per person. Children under 12 are free with two paying adults. 

PLEASE NOTE: Not every room category has been added to the room block. If you choose a room that is not part of the room block (either because it was never part of it or because all the other rooms in the block have been booked), I will have to ask the hotel to confirm both the availability of the room and if they will honor the rates. I will let you know once that has been confirmed or ask you to choose another category if it is not available. This resort sells out fast; to guarantee the room category of your choice, book asap!

Luxury Junior Suite

Royal Service Garden View

Royal Service Ocean Front Suite

Elegant suite ideal for couples seeking a romantic break with stunning views of the Caribbean Ocean and are stylishly decorated with dark mahogany furniture. Includes a lounge with a sofa for greater comfort.

Booking and FAQ

Booking and FAQ

To be considered part of Beatriz & José's Wedding Group, you must book through the group rates and not through any other method (even directly with the hotel). We have negotiated competitive group rates and secured a room block to make this as easy as possible. To participate in all of the wedding-related activities, you must stay at Paradisus Punta Cana as part of the wedding group.

  • A refundable deposit in the amount of $100/room is due by March 16 to reserve your room and book your stay.
  • The deadline for the balance to be paid is May 27, 2018. This is the last day for cancellations. 

You do not need to know all the parties in the room, the travel dates, or the room category; book your room based on what you think you will need and any changes can be made until the balance due date. 

Any changes made to your booking after May 27, 2018, will be subject to a $75 change fee. Any changes requested after the balance due date must be paid for in full upfront even before they are confirmed. Name changes are deemed cancellations of the original booking and new bookings per the hotel; therefore, bookings are nontransferable after the due date of May 27, 2018, and will be charged accordingly. All late payments will be assessed a $25 penalty per every 5 business days the payment is late.  

Frequently asked questions

+ Can I Set Up a Payment Plan?

Yes! You can structure your payments in one of 3 ways:

  • You can make a deposit and then let the balance charge automatically on the balance due date.
  • You can make a deposit and ask us to calculate an even amount to charge every month with the last charge to be made on the balance due date.
  • You can make a deposit and click the "Make a Payment" button whenever you want to make an additional payment in any amount and if there's any balance left, it will be charged on the balance due date.

+ What is the Cancellation Policy?

Any deposit or payments made towards bookings as part of wedding groups are fully refundable if requested in writing to carol@barefootbridal.com at least 7 days in advance of May 27, 2018. If a cancellation request is not made in time, all moneys paid towards travel will be nonrefundable.

+ Is Travel Insurance Available?

Travel Insurance is available and highly recommended. Rates are per person, depending on the cost of the land-only portion of your trip. $69.00/person for trips up to $1,250/person, $79.00/person up to $2,000, and $99.00/person up to $2,500.. and so on. Travel Insurance can be added at any point; however, in order to receive the full benefit of the travel insurance, you must add it within 14 days of booking. Otherwise, the "Cancel For Any Reason" benefit will not apply and the only benefits will be for in-travel issues. Please note that once purchased, travel insurance is nonrefundable.

+ Will I Need a Passport?

Yes! A passport book is needed to fly to and from the U.S. and the D.R. - please take the time now to locate your passport and check the expiration date; make sure it is valid for 6 months after your anticipated return date. + Can You Help Me with Round-Trip Airport Transportation?

Yes! We have arranged for private transfers at a discounted rate of $35 per person round trip that will be added to your invoice.

+ What is the Weather Like?

The weather in the D.R. is hot and humid with averages in the 80s year around. Humidity is lowest during Dec-Feb and increases the closer you get to August. Hurricane season starts in June and continues through November. There is a gentle breeze that comes off the ocean on most days, so make sure to pack plenty of sunscreen because the breeze makes it easy to forget just how hot and strong the sun really is!

+ Do I need an Adapter for my Electronics?

You do not need an adapter for your electronics; the outlets in the D.R. will accept U.S. plugs.

+ What if I want to Book Excursions?

I can assist you with booking excursions. Let us know me what kind of activities you'd like to do, how many people, and the date you'd like to go and we can get you rates.

+ Can You Help Me Book Air Travel?

Barefoot Bridal can assist with airfare. Please contact your TA with your travel dates, depature gateway, number of people traveling, and special requests at carol@barefootbridal.com with the wedding name. However BFB cannot guarantee that we have better rates than what you may find on your own.

+ I found a cheaper price online, can you match it?

Finding cheaper rates than the group rates online is very rare! However, if you have found cheaper rates, please take a screen shot that includes the final total price (with all taxes and fees), what the price includes (dates and room category), the website you found it on and the date and time on your computer and send it to carol@barefootbridal.com. We will ask the hotel for a price match. It may take several business days to hear back from the groups department for the match. We have been successful in the past in reducing entire group contracts, but hotels can also reject price matches due to having a group contract in place.
